The US President-elect Donald Trump has invited Chinese President Xi Jinping to attend his inauguration in January, which could send a global signal according to former House Speaker Newt Gingrich.
Trump believes in constant offense, constant momentum, keeping things going forward, Gingrich told Fox News Jesse Watters in an interview Wednesday. I think he thinks that by inviting China’s president and having him come over here and shake hands with me on the South Lawn of the White House it will be a signal to the planet.
Gingrich also believes Trumps campaign promise to bring down grocery prices has been backtracked, as President-elect Donald Trump walked back what was always a wildly unrealistic campaign promise.
